Job Type and Call Reason Changes

Introduction

Apex will be rolling out updates in ServiceTitan to capture Call Reasons (new) and improvements in Job Type alignment, this will provide significant benefits in how we capture the true opportunity on every call while maintaining a clear understanding of the customer's immediate needs​

Definitions:​

  • Job type (Opportunity) This reflects the highest-value opportunity (as determined by the operating model run at the location level) identified during the call​

  • Call Reason: This is the primary reason the customer is calling us. It reflects the immediate issue they are experiencing​

Why are we changing? 

  • Increase first-time resolution/ close ratesdue to better job-technical alignment​

  • Enhanced “Right Tech, Right Call” bestpractices​

  • Higher customer satisfaction resulting frommore effective delivery​

  • Convey a tone of expertise tailored tospecific job types​

  • Allow us to guide better guide the rightinformation for better customer service
